Tekken Fever!

I noticed I’ve been playing Tekken 6 in the PSP for weeks now. It’s really addicting. You guys should try it. =) I recommend it to all of you. It’s a must-play-game. I am now a master in that game and my character is ALISA. She looks pretty. Plus, her dress is PINK! HAHA. LOL. Here’s a picture of her:

 

 

HEHE. My sibs are amazed at me cause I beat them. My brother and my sister are both 3rd Dan. I have to admit, they are good too. But I think I’m better. =) LOL.

I really love this photo. I remember the old days.. When I was a kid, I wanted to be a ballerina. Yep. I wanna be one. HAHA. But when I reached grade 6, I discovered that I’m NOT good in dancing. xDD I really don’t know how to dance. I say I have two left feet. I cant follow a single step. LOL. But it’s true. )

 

Hm. Okay,  I have nothing on my mind right now. So, I’ll just end it here. =))

Summer Classes

For the first time, I’m having summer classes this year for  one simple reason.. To pass the entrance exam in Science High School here in our province Well, wish me luck guys. Passing the entrance exam in Science HS means a lot to me. Cause my classmates said that when you pass the exam in there, you won’t need to look for a job when the time comes. The job itself will find you. I don’t really believe that. But my parents said that when I pass that exam, I don’t need to have another exam in another school when I get to college (GETS?) LOL =))))) So, I really NEED to pass that exam. \m/ ENOUGH SUMMER-CLASSES-TALK!

I’m not good in Math. I get C’s at Math sometimes. But sometimes I get an A+. =D

Jealousy: Good or Bad?

I never really thought about jealousy until the other day. Coming from a day at the park with my best friend I expected rainbows and leprechauns to come my way for I was happy to have her back. Since we had a small, not important fight the other day, I missed her sarcastic jokes and hilarious impressions. Of course, just like Eve ruined it for Adam, another girl from our school came and met up with us. I felt like I had lost my best friend again because suddenly, I was nonexistent to my friend. Well, or so it seemed in my foggy perspective.

I felt torn between pulling her away from the other girl and keeping my friend to myself or just simply going home and washing my pillow with salty tears. I felt so lost because I had missed my friend so much and all I wanted to do was spend more time alone with her, share secrets and bond. The whole bike ride back, the other girl was keeping my friend away from me and I envied that same girl I wanted to shoot. Of course my friend didn’t mean any harm: she was just catching up with her other friend, but I felt pain and longing anyway.

I went home and I thought long and hard about everything that happened that day. I felt like Nicholas Cage in Knowing when I discovered that the other girl meant no harm, evidence of the fact that she tried to include me in the conversation most of the time. I was simply too hard-headed and paranoid that I didn’t realize nothing was wrong. I was so caught up in the fact that I had to share my best friend with someone else; I didn’t realize that I didn’t have ownership over her. Sure I hadn’t talked with her for a while, but that didn’t mean I could steal and whisk her away from her other friends.

That was the first time I had felt that way towards a friend and I also realized that day that there was no need to be jealous and that I should have been more open minded.

The next day, we met up at the park with that same girl. And we had loads of fun! It turned out that the girl was an awesome person who had the same interests as me; I was just too blind to see at first. I loved the fact that the jealousy was gone because of me! I was the problem all along, not the new girl, it was me!

That day I made a friend and all because of my best friend. So jealousy can be a good thing? Hm . .. no idea what the point of this article is but I am guessing it is something that goes like this:

Jealousy is the green monster on your back
The thing that only some people seem to lack
Most of us are too shallow to see
That the best thing is Jealousy

It keeps you going and gives you motivation
It is the human’s mind working, a conscious creation
But what some people might not know,
Is that it doesn’t have to be your biggest foe

Embrace Jealousy and create an escape
Say thank you for what you have and hold your faith
Fix that green monster, so evil and chilling
Because in the end, if you do, you’ll only be winning

Books

Your mom comes in to tell you it’s time for lights out. You’re lying in bed, reading an awesome book that is much to difficult to put down.

“Five more minutes!” you beg. “I’m in a really good part, and I’m almost done with the book!”

Time passes by. Suddenly, it’s midnight. You’re still reading the book.

1 AM. You’re almost finished.

2 AM. You have a few pages to go.

What I absolutely LOVE about books is that they can really grab you, and make you become the character you’re reading about. They can actually take you places. Besides, how else would you be able to get to China from America for free?

Books can go beyond all that we know. Books can make things like Cinderella and other fairy tales come to life. Books can convince us that a rabbit is a rat. Books have superpowers, and can do anything.

I could spend hours in the library looking for books that amaze me. Most of you would think of libraries as nothing special. It is just a place where boring, multicolored books sit among the shelves, and librarians constantly tell you to “Shhh”.

Libraries may be boring, but what the library’s contents hold makes it a palace. Books, boring? Not by a CHANCE.

Now, you’ve just finished the book you have been reading.

There’s a question, just itching to be answered.

Stand Up

Sometimes, I just feel useless — like my life has no point. I watch people on the streets who are homeless and have no one, and I feel powerless to come to their aid. You know, sometimes I feel like I can’t do anything to make a difference. I’m only one small person in this huge world. Who cares about what I do?

At times like these, I feel negative and dull. The only reason my life exists is just to add another person to this miserable world. Another life for the devil to toy with.

But is there really a reason for any of this? For us to live?

I guess that the best we can do is make the best of it. We’ve got to believe in what we can and hold onto every shred of hope, because we’ve got to survive. Whether or not this world is terrible, we need to stand up and make a difference. I mean, look at what this is coming to! Fake love, betrayal, hurt, envy . . . what’s the point of all of this? The point is that the more people that gain up the courage to make a difference WILL make a difference. Sure, you’re only another person in this world, but a person that can add to the mass.

But wait . . . how DO you make a difference? It’s pretty simple, but it depends on what you’re trying to change, of course.

Maybe if you want to help people gain a larger self-esteem in how they look, you could follow the steps in Morgan612’s article, Operation Beautiful.

Perhaps you desire to have the world be cleaner. How ’bout you stand up yourself, and clean up a nearby park or recycle?

The opportunities are endless! There are tons of things in the world that need to be changed, and there are tons of ways to each thing that should be made different. Don’t be discouraged, and don’t forget — if you try to make a difference, others will, and if that happens, imagine what will be accomplished! Never give up, and keep trying.
